Press ups may be boring and old but I love them. There’s a reason they’ve stood the test of time, the quality of muscular activation you can achieve through the range of movement when performed correctly is fantastic. I like to slightly vary them with different feet height placements to target different areas and help develop well rounded pectorals.
And here’ the subtitle text in case you’d like to read the guidance:
Hi guys TRX traveller Adam here, today we’re doing a quick little vid on the TRX hi feet press up it’s great to just add a little bit of variation on the chest muscle okay so the TRX – press up get your TRX on the right position you want to exaggerate the length of it a bit of it so you can see here I’ve got it really high up we’re not too high off the cart you get my footing that’s the awkward part get in now key little thing to remember when you’re doing press ups first of all keep your hand in alignment with your nipple second of all when you press up or when you come down your contract try and push the floor together and that’ll really help with contracting the chest muscles in the top you always want to squeeze it’s always squeezing it’s always contract them let’s give that a shot once you got your feet in find a comfortable position get your core tensed and again like I said hands and line with nipples and slowly down four one two and then I want you to push the floor together to contract your chest muscles it’ll really squeeze at the top push the floor together squeeze those chest muscles and back down four one two oh four one two contract one two and back down one and up one two and squeeze and hold and that’s it it’s really simple in a bit the dog parking it’s got a few dogs sit down it’s really simple it’s all about contracting the chest muscles and keeping them squeeze at the entire range of motion than the exercise give them a go let me know what you think thanks watching
