Don’t move with a TRX.
Now, what do I mean by that?
I mean, don’t just grab the TRX and think, right…
I’m just going to do a TRX low row.
That’s not the goal.
The goal is to think about the muscle you want to target and isolate and squeeze the muscle.
Which causes the movement.
Squeezing the muscle causes the movement!
We don’t aim to move.
We aim to squeeze the muscle.
That’s muscle-centric exercise.
Muscle centric technique.
With that we can use lighter loads because the muscle is isolated.
When a muscle is isolated, it’s weaker on its own.
So if it was a TRX row, think…
I want to squeeze and target my lat muscles, my back muscles.
Focus on just squeezing those muscles through the range of motion and that’s it.
That will cause the movement.
Don’t just move.
Squeeze the muscle to move.
Muscle centric technique.
That’s the key.
Go for it!
