TRX Side Bends. Requested by @Ford.72 (instagram) a TRX exercise to target the side of the core.
TEMPO:
- 4 sec downward stretch phase
- 0 sec pause at bottom
- 1 sec side ab contraction phase
- 0 sec pause at top
- *4sets – 8-12reps,
- no rest constant alternation between sides
FOCUS:
- Stand just off centre (refer to beginning of vid)
- Grip with both hands
- Contract shoulder blades back
- Squeeze side abs hard to come back up
- Try to breath in slowly through nose on the 4 sec downward phase
- …and out through nose fast on the 1 sec upwards contraction phase
