hey guys how’s it going – your TRX Traveller Adam here in this vid we’re gonna take a little look at the shoulder press for the one and a half reps let’s get to it this is just a quick one guys and I’m not going to cover much technique here because I’ll put a link to the shoulder press ban shoulder press video below which is a bit of a let more lengthy video and it covers and technique and execution such as position and mind to muscle contract in the end the shoulder right is here as um exploding up the temple for coming down and things like that and so I’d recommend you go back and watch the band shoulder press video if you want to get technique this is just them specifically from programs just to show you it’s a little bit of a mom an advanced way to add more tension on the shoulders when you’re doing the band press and it’s called the one and a half reps so what you do same set up as I talked about in the previous video get the band get it comfortable and for the first rep we’re going to contract up for one second you’re going to come down halfway contract up and come back down for one two three four explode up and down halfway and back up and that’s one rep that full well that’s two reps but the full rep for a one and a half is from here exploding up come back down halfway explode up and come back down all the way that’s a one and a half rep so if the program calls for seven one and a half reps you do seven of those so it’s explode up come back down halfway explode up come back down for one two three four explode up and down four one two and up and down four one two three four explode up and already I’m not getting it it’s a great way to add more intensity to the shoulders one and a half reps you can do them for various exercises and I just wanted to give you a bit of a demonstration for the program hopefully it helps hopefully adds that little bit more attention and intensity to the shoulder muscles thanks very much for watching [Music]
