@rants_on_acting DM’d me wondering how to focus on feeling more of a contraction when training for arm development – If you struggle to feel a contraction in your biceps with normal TRX curls – try this version of a TRX drag curl
It places more emphasis on the ‘peak’ of the bicep, top of the strength curve, to build tall rounded bicep muscles
- Pull your elbow behind your body
- Don’t focus on curling, focus on dragging your elbows back behind your body by squeezing your bicep muscles
- Squeeze your biceps as hard as possible at the top contracted phase and hold that squeeze for 2-3 secs
Tomorrow I’ll show you a simple but effective TRX exercise to build the muscle that lies underneath your tricep and bicep. Building this muscle pushes them away from each other increasing the width of your arms.
