hi guys TRX traveler Adam here in this video we’re going to be looking at the TRX feet opposite elbow bit of a tongue twister but it’s great for the stomach great for the ABS it’s a variation on the normal M knees to chest or the bicycle kicks as I like to call them so let’s get to it okay some knees to opposite elbow really simple really effective the key is you’re going to be in a press up position feet on the straps the TRX and you bring in this knee to the opposite elbow now the key is not to just bring it and pump it like that what we’re looking for is to squeeze hard you can breathe out and squeeze and hold it there and the next one breathe out squeeze and hold that there in practice it looks like this the key thing is to squeeze your abs and try and hold your knee to the opposite elbow for at least two seconds really get a high contraction out of it so get your feet the TRX traps as I say press up position get comfortable get solid retract your shoulder blades back a little bit and it looks like this so my right knee to my left elbow and I’m squeezing ah have to reposition a little bit and my left knee to my right elbow squeeze ah and the other one squeeze you see I’m slightly turning my head just to help with the momentum squeeze squeeze squeeze squeeze and they are tough oh you can feel it right down your side here they’re working in the obliques of the help of the V shape but they’re also as you feel it you’ll feel a whole halves each side contracting as you pull into the opposite side so just a fantastic all-round ab workout so sling them in throw them into your workouts if you watch this go say you’ve downloaded my programs and you want to know how to do the neat opposite elbow if your abs that’s it remember key is control yes you’re going to feel a bit tired because you’re having to do a bit of a press of hole to if you feel nothing because of that just take a break two or three seconds and get back to it to the hip your rep range just pause at failure and keep going if you found this useful let me know in the comments give them a try let me know what you think thanks for watching
